The world’s first science-backed chatbot for families with children living with food-allergies.

How it works?

  1. Generates flexible menus and custom recipes

Swapping ingredients from cow’s milk to oat milk alone isn't sufficient. Elimination diets can potentially cause harm, particularly in children, due to nutrient restrictions*. Phoebe optimises nutrition, navigating the complexity of various preferences within a household (e.g. a child with a dairy or tree-nut allergy, a vegan mum, and a flexitarian dad with a peanut allergy).

2. Offers on-demand science-backed advice

Conversational allergy assistant providing on-demand dietary and cooking advice based on scientifically curated, evidence-based data. Transparent sources, not black boxes, ensure credibility and trustworthiness.

What if everyone had access to an expert assistant to guide them every step of the way?
That’s the essence of Phoebe.

“I try hard to ensure healthy meals but it’s so hard to eat a varied diet with so many restrictions, so I would like us all to have some other meal ideas to ensure a varied diet and to reduce the mental load of worrying about it all the time”

Grace mum of allergic child

“I decided to give up allergens as Bea has been getting loads of eczema and was at a loss what to cook. Then I remembered Phoebe and it is saving my life!”

Why is this important?

Allergies are on the rise.

Food-allergies are inconvenient and worrying, especially for parents of young children. Managing them is more expensive and time consuming (FSA). There is also a psychological impact with 2 in 3 people reporting that allergy impacted their mental health (AllergyUK survey)

Embracing sustainable diets.

With 30% of carbon emissions globally coming from the food system, what we eat has a direct impact on the planet. Fortunately, research shows that most people want to embrace change for the benefit of the planet. We are building technology to enable them to achieve this, resulting in less waste, less emissions, better health.
